Mrs. Betty Sue Smith Gray, age 80, of Waco, GA, passed away January 27, 2013. Mrs. Gray was born November 13, 1932 to the late Enoch Asbery and Elzie Ann Scales Smith.

Mrs. Gray worked as a seamstress with Hubbard’s and Darsey Manufacturing and was a member of Antioch Baptist Church. She enjoyed bluegrass music, gardening, and cooking pies.

She is survived by Thomas C. Gray, her husband of 54 years; daughter and son-in-law, Rene and Lisa Gray-Gonzalez; son, Steven Mann all of Tallapoosa; granddaughter, Derrick and Stefanie Mann Raney; great-grandchildren, Blake Edwards and Kylie Henson all of Carrollton; brother and sister-in-law, Lloyd and Iris Smith of Tallapoosa.

Funeral services will be held January 29, 2013 at 12:00 PM from the Antioch Baptist Church with Rev. Hank Darnell and Rev. Tommy McGuire officiating. Pallbearers serving will be Kenny Haney, Charles Wilson, Pat Williams, Stacy Bragg, Derrick Raney, and Jimmy Allen.

Interment will follow in Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home one Monday, January 28, 2013, between the hours of 6:00 and 9:00 PM.
