Mr. John Henry Kilgore, age 62, of 30 Bruce Street, Tallapoosa, GA, passed away on January 29, 2013. He was born on January 9, 1951 to the late Tom and Lois Capes Kilgore. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Sylvia Brown.

Mr. Kilgore was a pulpwooder. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and being in the midst of nature.

He is survived by his daughter, Ann Wright of Tallapoosa; son and daughter-in-law, John O. and Debbie Kilgore of Waco; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; sisters and brother-in-law, Belle and Mike Kelley of Muscadine, AL and Sharon Wallace of Waco; and brothers and sister-in-law, Bobby Kilgore of Waco and Stevie and Tara Kilgore of Tallapoosa.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 1, 2013 at 11:00 am from the Miller Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Steve Jones officiating. Pallbearers serving will be John O. Kilgore, Brian Swanson, Trent Kelley, Zack Wallace, Jason Wallace, and Justin Kilgore.

Interment will follow in Providence Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, January 31. 2013, between the hours of 6:00 and 9:00 PM.
