Mrs. Virginia Roberts Price, age 86, of Tallapoosa, GA, passed away February 6, 2013. Mrs. Price was born August 8, 1926 to the late Ambrose and Sallie Saxon Roberts. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers Rev. Tal David Roberts and A. B. Roberts and brother in law, E. L. Garrett.

Mrs. Price was a farmer and of the Baptist faith. She was very kind to animals.

She is survived by her husband of 66 years, Clarence Price of Tallapoosa; siblings, Jennie Roberts Garrett of Cave Spring, Louie and Joan Roberts of Tallapoosa, Elizabeth and Roy Newman of Tallapoosa, Gail Teams Roberts of Cave Spring, Paul and Vara Roberts of Bremen and Sue and Jerry Muse of Tallapoosa; aunt Arlevia Roberts of Tallapoosa; sisters in law, Vera Roberts of Rockmart and Clara Collins of Atlanta; and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

Funeral services will be held Friday, February 8, 2013 at 11:00 AM from the Chapel of Miller Funeral Home with Rev. John Norton and Rev. Benny Abney officiating. Music will be provided by the congregation with June Walker, Mark Newman and Evan Harris. Pallbearers serving will be nephews, David Roberts, Daryl Roberts, Derek Roberts, Chad Roberts, Mark Newman, Zak Abney and Evan Harris. Honorary pallbearers will be Jimmy Pope, James Hughes and Nelson Chandler.

Interment will follow in Polk Memory Gardens Cemetery in Cedartown, GA.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, February 7, 2013, between the hours of 6:00 and 9:00 PM
