Mr. John William Kilgo, age 63, of Tallapoosa, GA, passed away February 13, 2013. Mr. Kilgo was born January 1, 1950 in Tallapoosa. He was preceded in death by his father, Lee Ellis Kilgo.

Mr. Kilgo was a member of the First Baptist Church of Tallapoosa. He was an attorney, practicing law in both Alabama and Georgia. He was an avid Georgia Tech fan. He loved his pets, Quid and Buzz.

He is survived by his mother, Evelyn Tankersely Kilgo of Tallapoosa; sisters and brother in law, Judy and Jack Roberts of Muscadine, AL and Kathy Bailey of Smyrna, GA; and special friend Bobbie Johnson of Tallapoosa.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, February 16, 2013 at 12:00 PM from the First Baptist Church of Tallapoosa with Rev. Jason Hatchett officiating. Music and eulogy will be provided by niece, Tara Robinson.

Interment will follow in Hollywood Cemetery.
