My thoughts and prayers are with Smokey's family and friends. I knew him when he was in the 911 ARS at Seymour Johnson AFB, NC. Although I only was in the squadron with him for a short time (he was trying to return to flying on KC135's) he was a great person and I am very sorry he is no longer with us.
